National Dual Diagnosis Programme, NMHDU
Organisations are invited to tender to develop, host and manage four online learning modules which target people who would like to raise their awareness of Dual Diagnosis (mental health and substance use) across England.
The materials for the four modules have been developed and will form the basis of the completed educational package. Each module is expected to take 30-60 minutes to complete, and must be freely accessible to a range of professionals and members of the public. The intention is that there should be no cost to the end user to access and complete the learning modules.
The modules will relate to learning at level 1 of the dual diagnosis capabilities framework Closing the Gap http://www.dualdiagnosis.co.uk/EducationalResourcesHub.ink
Added functionality required includes the option to produce reports to NHS organisations who can collate numbers of staff who have completed modules, as part of their training strategies.
High numbers of practitioners would be expected to engage in the learning process, with a particular focus on targeting practitioners involved in the delivery of both substance use and mental health services.
