Safety 2010 is a major world conference bringing stakeholders in the prevention of unintentional injuries and violence from around the world to debate, discuss and exchange information and experiences.

The conference will be held in the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London and will be co-sponsored by the World Health Organization.

The key theme of this conference is Safe and Equitable Communities. The conference will cover all aspects of injuries and safety including a workshop on self-harm and suicide. Those wishing to present their wok on self-harm and suicide can submit abstracts for oral presentations, posters or photo exhibits. The call for abstracts commenced in May 2009 and will close on 15 January 2010.
